Living Area :

The interconnecting sitting and dining rooms are typical of the period with high ceilings, good proportions and plenty of light streaming in through two large windows and a French door in each room. The French doors open onto a large terrace, ideal for al fresco dining. In the sitting room comfortable seating is arranged around a lovely marble fireplace and there is a TV, DVD player and music system. The dining room has a large mahogany table and chairs for 12 people.

Kitchen :

The kitchen/breakfast room, is fully fitted with dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, hob and microwave oven etc. and equipped with everything you could need. breakfast can be eaten indoors or on the front terrace accessed via french doors.

Bedrooms :

The bedrooms are all of a good size, carpeted and very comfortably furnished. 7 in total there are 3 on the first floor and 4 on the second. 5 doubles (2 x king size, 3 x queen size) and 2 twin rooms.

Bathrooms :

There are two main bathrooms and three independent toilets, one on each level. There is also a shower, toilet and changing room in the summer house, and a poolside shower.

Grounds :

There are four acres of grounds containing many specimen and fruit trees, as well as a hard surface tennis court and pool.

Garden swings and Boules court. Steps from the bottom of the garden lead directly to the boulangerie.

Adjacent to the pool and BBQ area there is a lovely summer house with exposed stone, beams and beautiful open fireplace.
This is furnished for sitting and dining and has its own kitchen area with dishwasher, fridge and tableware for outdoor eating/BBQ cooking. There is also a shower/changing room and toilet.

A selection of tennis racquets and boules, books and games for adults and children is provided.

Pool :

Rectangular pool 12m x 6.5m with shallow end of 1m and deep end of 2.4m, paved surround with garden furniture, solar heated shower and infra red safety barrier.

Laundry :

There is a separate laundry room with washing machine, drying and ironing facilities.

Features :

Bed linen, towels and pool towels are included and all changed weekly during stays of two or more weeks.

Facilities :

Gas fired central heating, telephone and water softener.
Internet access.

Locality :

Just a short stroll from the town centre, you wil be able to visit the colourful street markets, indulge in the local cuisine and enjoy the vibrant street entertainment in Summer. A short drive will take you to he many attractions in the area eg scenic dordogne valley, Rocamadour, Lascaux caves etc.

Travel Details :

By air : Sarlat is just an hours drive from Bergerac airport. Bordeaux, Toulouse, Limoges and Rodez airports are a two hour drive away. All major car hire companies operate from these airports, Europcar & Rentacar have offices in Sarlat.

By rail : Sarlat is connected to Bordeaux & Bergerac by a direct rail link and to Paris and Toulouse via Souillac ( half an hours drive).

By road : From Paris, Limoges and Toulouse, leave the A20 motorway at exit 55 and proceed to Sarlat.
From Bordeaux take the A89 motorway to exit 16 ( Perigueux Est ) and proceed to Sarlat via Les Eyzies.
From Bergerac follow the signs for Sarlat.
